About the Author: John Agbaanyi Akem (1959-2013) was a distinguished professional lecturer and evaluator with years of experience. He obtained his B.Sc. (Ed) and M.Ed in Test and Measurement at the University of Jos, Nigeria, and later earned his Ph.D in Measurement and Evaluation from the University of Nsukka. As a renowned expert in Education Testing, John lectured in the Department of Educational Foundations, Faculty of Education, Benue State University, Makurdi, Nigeria. He coordinated the Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) and taught various courses including Test and Measurement, Research Methods and Statistics, and Educational Psychology. John's contribution to the field of education are substantial, with eight authored books: 1. Rudiments of Measurement and Education, in Education and Psychology (2000) 2. Principles of Measurement and Evaluation, Continuous Assessment and Psychological Testing in Education (2003) 3. Introduction to Educational Psychology (2004) 4.
