“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover”(Mark 16:17-18).
To be a Christian without operating in the supernatural simply means you are living an average life in general. It’s God’s will for His creations to live and operate in the realm of the miraculous. But for any Divine possibility, there is a scriptural responsibility given to man. And your number one responsibility is to believe.
“Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent” (John 6:28-19). Furthermore, Jesus Christ’s responded to Philip’s request in John 14:12 as follows: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”
The Bible says in Acts 10:38:“...God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”
The anointing releases the unction to function in the spiritual realm: the realm of the miraculous (see Luke 24:49). Be aware that the anointing is not just for a special group of people, it does not discriminate. It’s for everyone that believes. The major ways we can receive or increase the anointing is by the spoken word by either your pastor or prophet, the laying on of hands as seen in Acts8:17 and by asking the Heavenly Father to give you (read Luke 11:11-13). To be anointed means to have the Holy Spirit; the presence of God.
A measure of faith is given to every believer in Christ (read Romans 12:3). Faith is what we use to unlock the storehouse of grace (see Galatians 3:9) — if you believe, you will receive (Ephesians 2:8-9).The anointing can be activated and increased by exercising or expressing your faith in God. Faith causes the manifestation of God’s power in our lives. Your journey to the realm of the miraculous begins!
